Falling CO2, Rising Natural Gas Reserves Mean Climate Talk Isn’t All Terrible

As we close in on the scheduled climate talks in Paris, there is a series of good news to report. The news is something for those in Paris to consider and there are some things for us to be thankful for as we sit down at the Thanksgiving table this Thursday.

Let’s start with the news that from 2005 to 2013 carbon dioxide emissions fell in 48 out of 50 states (including the District of Columbia) and rose in only 3. The analysis by the Energy Information Administration is focused on the generation of electricity.
