ULC’s CISBOT was recently featured in The Boston Globe for our work with National Grid on Berkeley Street in Back Bay, Boston. Globe reporter David Abel covered the story and explained the importance of CISBOT’s work with the international utility stating, “Without the robot, National Grid would have had to dig a trench every 12 feet along the main, about 133 holes in all.” Abel then goes on to say, “Repairing the lines also reduces safety risks…and saves ratepayers money.”
