Lead the Future of Utility Robotics

Project Manager – CISBOT Operations

Join the Team Transforming Critical Energy Infrastructure

What if your next role as a Project Manager could modernize critical utility infrastructure, reduce emissions, and minimize disruption for entire communities?

As a CISBOT Project Manager at ULC Technologies, you’ll lead the deployment of innovative robotic technology that is transforming how major gas utilities rehabilitate aging infrastructure. You’ll oversee projects that help utilities extend the life of critical assets, reduce excavation, minimize impacts on customers and communities, and safely deliver energy to millions of people every day.

CISBOT is a robotic system that rehabilitates live cast iron gas mains from the inside, helping utilities extend the life of critical infrastructure while reducing costs, minimizing disruption, and preventing methane emissions. Since deployment began in 2010, CISBOT has sealed more than 66,000 gas main joints across North America and the United Kingdom.

As a CISBOT Project Manager, you’ll oversee field operations, work directly with major gas utilities, and lead highly skilled crews delivering projects that combine robotics, construction, and critical infrastructure rehabilitation.

This is an opportunity to build a career at the intersection of technology, field operations, and leadership.

Why CISBOT?

Real Impact

From a single excavation, CISBOT can access and remediate up to 110 joints while maintaining gas service to customers. Utilities use the technology to reduce project costs, accelerate schedules, and improve environmental performance by mitigating methane emissions.

Continous Innovation

ULC continues to invest in CISBOT development, expanding capabilities into new pipe sizes and joint types while deploying the latest advancements in robotics, automation, and field operations. As a Project Manager, you’ll work directly with customers implementing next-generation rehabilitation programs.

Established Solution

Utilities rely on CISBOT to rehabilitate leak-prone cast iron gas mains without interrupting service to customers. The technology operates inside live gas mains, sealing joints and extending asset life while dramatically reducing excavation requirements and community disruption.
