CISBOT has sealed more than 66,000 cast iron gas main joints since 2010 across the US and UK.
ULC is now delivering internal joint repair in smaller diameter mains.
CISBOT enters live cast iron gas distributions mains to internally repair jute and mechanical joints. From one excavation, our solution can seal up to 110 joints. ULC Technologies’ field teams have sealed over 66,000 cast iron gas main joints since 2010 to support both planned captial projects as well as reactive leak response.
X-ID supports new construction post-HDD and legacy inspection programs by detecting the presence of cross bores from within gas mains and gas services.
ULC Technologies’ operator qualified field technicians collaborate with utilities and contractors to conduct post-HDD inspections using our X-ID acoustic cross bore detection solution.
ULC Technologies team of operator qualified field technicians deploy our bespoke live gas main inspection camera and crawler systems to help solve problems in the field, reduce guesswork and provide critical in-pipe intelligence.
Our teams can inspect your live 2″ to 48″ diameter PE, steel and cast iron gas mains to aid in water intrusion related outages, identifying features in the pipe, damage prevention and more.
Gas service lines from 1/2″ to 2″ in diameter can also be inspected to identify material changes, look for old gas light tees and pinpoint blockages.
Gas utilities are constantly strugglng with outdated maps and records, which leads to costly guesswork, third party damages and work delays. Our teams deliver critical mapping and pinpoint accurating markout to help reduce excavation damages, improve safety and lower risk.
Using our specialized live gas main inspection cameras, our teams are able to produce pinpoint accurate and complete mark out of the gas main and any features visible from within the pipe including stubs, offsets and taps.
We’ve taken our In-Pipe Locating Services to the next level! In addition to providing highly accurate markout, we can now capture GPS coordinates of your assets and deliver GIS-style mapping of your gas mains and pipe features.
ULC’s field teams are deployed to conduct a range of inspection and mapping services.
Using our Micro-Magnetic Cased Pipeline Crawler, our teams can access the annular space between the casing and carrier pipes to conduct detailed inspections.
Our field teams can conduct long range, wireless inspections of electrical conduits to identify features that may damage cables during installation or pinpoint damages.

Emissions Recovery
AirPulse Vac-Ex Tools
ULC Technologies brings more than 20 years experience and expertise in the internal inspection of live gas distribution mains and services. Our cameras offer optimal images and extended push distances to reduce costs and improve the quality of inspections.
ULC Technologies’ DDC-125 and Mini DDC products are designed for gas distribution emissions recovery. Our cross compression units use natural gas as the primary fuel source, have built-in safety features and deliver projects faster than anything else in the market.
Purpose built for safe and efficient gas distribution cross compression to save time, save money and minimize the impact on construction schedules. Ideal for volumes over 1,000 cu ft.
We scaled down our cross compression solution into a more portable and cost-effective package. Ideal for your day-to-day products under 1,000 cu ft.
Our AirPulse product adapts to your vacuum excavation truck to simultaneously break up and soil while is removed. It’s time to supercharge your excavation operations!
Installs onto the end of your vac truck tube to enable soil disruption while you remove soil. One operator can conduct both soil disruption and soil removal. Installs in minutes and requires a compressed air connection.
